6th Annual British Sports Book Awards
18th March 2008, Café Royal
The National Sporting Club is delighted to present the 2008 Annual British Sports Book Awards. The main award this year, the Autobiography of the Year sponsored by Sky Sports, will see Sir Bobby Charlton going head to head with Sir Jackie Stewart and Lawrence Dallaglio, with longer odds available for Sid Waddell, Neil Warncok and BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year champion boxer Joe Calzaghe. With a line-up like this the 2008 awards are set to be even more challenging than in previous years, and the largest and most competitive year to date.
